Eby-Brown delivers consumer products to the retail channel of trade through much of the eastern United States. While we place special emphasis on accuracy and efficiency, we also provide marketing and technological support to our customers. In addition, our professional sales representatives advise our retail partners on category management, new products and promotions, and industry wide trends and events.

Retail Marketing
Eby-Brown provides an array of marketing support services that enable our customers to maximize their sales and profits. These include:
- SPEED TO MARKET, a weekly email sent to our customers advising them of the hot new items just as they are breaking into the market
- Monthly Merchandiser featuring an array of promotions and new item information
- Suggested planograms in a variety of section sizes for many different product categories
- Manufacturers’ product display racks
- Point of Sale materials to maximize impulse sales
- Custom advertising programs designed by our customers exclusively for their stores
- Eby-Brown Trade Shows where our customers can meet manufacturers, see and very often sample the latest, greatest products on the market
- Local merchandising teams for new store sets and transition resets
- Eby-Brown has negotiated Accrual Programs with participating manufacturers.
Technology Support
Eby-Brown is a true leader in state-of-the-art decision support software as well as the electronic exchange of information between our customers and us. These include:
- Electronic Data Interchange, more commonly referred to as EDI, is the exchange of information, via computers, between trading partners. Eby-Brown has long been a pioneer within our business channel in the areas of electronic invoicing and price book support using either ANSI x12 standard formats or our customers’ proprietary formats.
- IRIS (Intelligent Reporting Information System) is a decision support system that allows clients to access velocity information 24/7 and features six different reports to aid purchasing and marketing decisions.
- ORCHID (Optimized Replenishment of Cigarettes Using Historical & Inventory Data) is the most comprehensive automatic replenishment program in the industry, designed to minimize out-of-stocks, while reducing overall inventory investment.
- ROSE (Remote Online System Environment) is a system which ensures more accurate, efficient, and timely maintenance of retails, and allows clients to access critical product information on a real-time basis.
- DAISY (Daily Accumulation of Items Sales Yields) is a system for providing quick and easy access to purchase information for customized time periods - particularly useful for tracking manufacturers’ buy-downs and promotions.
- VIOLET (View Invoices Online Enhanced Technology) enables you to view and print your store Eby-Brown invoice via the Internet, 24/7. It is updated daily.
- Planograms for many different product sections and in many different size configurations generated by our Spaceman Planogram software.
