NOW HIRING FOR A CURRENT OPENING - 08/04/2010
ROUTE DRIVER
* Hours: We hire drivers for local Day and Night delivery schedules. Drivers may work 40+ hour/ week. Shifts end when the work is completed. Some driver schedules include Sunday departures. * Job Description: The ROUTE DRIVER is responsible for:
- Delivering customer orders, helping unload orders with retail customer staff, maintaining delivery paperwork, and taking care of the vehicle and equipment used on the job
- Safely operating the vehicle, obeying all Local, State, and Federal rules of the road, and all D.O.T. operating and recording procedures
* Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you are required to:
- Hold a current Class "A" CDL
- Have and maintain a clean driving record
- Have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to lift up to 75 lbs
Minimum education: None. High School level education preferred.
