
Eby-Brown Announces New Coffee Initiative
NAPERVILLE, IL – Feb. 23, 2006 – Eby-Brown proudly announces the introduction of Pronto Café, an exciting gourmet turnkey coffee program designed specifically to meet the needs of the c-store retail channel of trade. In partnership with Sara Lee Food Service, Eby-Brown will now provide its customers with Pronto Café brand high-quality coffee, cappuccino, lattes, and other hot beverages. The Pronto Café brand has been designed for all Eby-Brown customers; from the multi-store chain customers to the independent stores. Along with the excellent quality coffees, the program provides retailers with a complete line of branding and merchandising tools including menu boards, posters, and ceiling danglers.
As part of this new initiative, Eby-Brown has acquired the services of John Skorniak to take the position of Hot Beverage Specialist. Skorniak comes to Eby-Brown with over 25 years experience in the coffee industry. His focus will be on all aspects of marketing and promoting the new Pronto Café program as well as being a consultive resource to Eby-Brown’s customers on how they can substantially grow their coffee sales and profits.
Skorniak “perks” right up whenever he talks about Eby-Brown’s new partnership with Sara Lee, saying, “This new coffee offering is one more step Eby-Brown is taking to provide the best products and service to our customers.
